Turn Off the Lights for Earth Hour

You know that turning off your lights saves energy and money. This Saturday night turning out the lights can also make a statement. People all over the world are being asked by the World Wildlife Fund to turn off their lights on March 29th at 8:00 p.m.

Earth Hour was created by WWF in Sydney, Australia in 2007, and in one year has grown from an event in one city to a global movement. About two million Sydney residents turned off their lights to reduced carbon emissions by 25 tonnes.

I know. I know. I’ve been a bit over the top with the YouTube videos this week, but this one offers the facts about this event.
