April Fool's Money Roundup

Finances just usually aren’t that funny, but heavy topics wouldn’t be appropriate for April Fool’s Day. Don’t worry I won’t attempt to try something funny ‘cause I’m just not that witty. Besides the sandman played his trick on me last night—the guy never showed. So any humorous brain cells that I might have are totally worn out.

If you are in need of financial entertainment today check out Fool.com. I’m not sure if this is understated humor or a real change, but those fools have put a lot of time into writing about investing in drinking and a spatula buying guide.

And today on CNNMoney behavioral economist Dan Ariely, though not really funny, tells us the truth—that we’re all just a bunch of suckers.

Then there’s bloggingstocks short list of some crazy urban legends about American business. Did you know Proctor and Gamble is run by Satanists?

It’s too late for this year, but if you’re a planner you get can started on your money themed pranks for next year with some funny money. Here are a couple of ideas that you could still pull off today.
